Our
2002 Patron's Party will feature a Spanish theme, with gourmet
hors d'oeuvres, assorted deluxe deserts, champagne, sangria,
coffee, and more. For your entertainment, Stanwood's own Xinli Hu
will perform on the Grand Piano. Xinli is a student at Stanwood High School, was the
winner of the WA State Music Teacher's National Association
Baldwin Piano Competition ('99-'00),
and placed second in the 6-state regional competition. Xinli is
also a member of the National Honor Society, was Math Student of the
Year ('00-'01), and took three gold medals in the Science Olympiad
State Competition ('01-'02).
And the Patron's
Party is pleased to have Camano Island violin maker Erich
Schweiger, who will be demonstrating his instrument-building artistry
during the party, for your perusal and edification.
