The Party's over...

... and a good time was had by all at the 2002 Stanwood-Camano Music Festival! A lot of great music was heard at all of our events by hundreds of happy music fans and community supporters. Thanks to all who attended, and special thanks to all the volunteers who helped make the festival a reality.

The Electric Equinox is happy to welcome DJ Marty Riemer from KMTT 103.7 The Mountain as our master of ceremonies. More info

Please note that the Classical Concert is scheduled for 3:00-5:00 PM on Sunday, September 8. The time listed in the Everett Symphony Notes newsletter is incorrect. More info

Advance tickets for both the Electric Equinox Rock Concert and the Classical Concert are now available online through TicketWeb, a secure, low-cost ticketing service. Buy early and often! Don't wait for the shows to sell out! More info

The program for the Classical Concert has been set. The Everett Symphony, under the direction of Dr. Paul-Elliott Cobbs, will present a selection of well-known melodic overtures, including selections from Beethoven, Wagner, and Verdi, among others. More info

The Patrons' Party committee welcomes Camano Island violin maker Erich Schweiger, who will be demonstrating his incredible instrument-building artistry during the party. More info

The Block Party has booked Bahia (latin jazz). More info

The Electric Equinox concert committee is pleased to announce the completion of our concert lineup, with confirmed bookings for East of The Equator (alt rock), and Stanwood High School's own Exit 212 (emo punk). More info

The Block Party has booked The Dunton Sisters (bluegrass). More info

The Electric Equinox concert committee has confirmed bookings for the headline attraction, Left Hand Smoke (blues-rock), as well as Flowmotion (world funk) and World 7 (world rock). More info

The Block Party has booked the following bands: Stilly River Band (bluegrass), The Smilin' Scandinavians (polka), Bob Christensen (country-folk), and Nadine Shanti (jazz). More info

Local high school student and all-around whiz kid Xinli Hu has been booked to perform on the grand piano at the Patron's Party. More info

The Stanwood-Camano Music Festival is made possible in part by the Snohomish County Hotel-Motel tax.

Saturday, September 7

Block Party  11 am - 5 pm - Music, barbecue, and family fun in downtown (West) Stanwood.

Electric Equinox  6 pm - 12 midnight - Rock concert with great food and refreshments at the Stanwood Community Fairgrounds

Sunday, September 8

Classical Concert  3 pm - At the Stanwood Performing Arts Center, Stanwood High School.

Advance tickets available online, and at select locations.
