The first annual (2001) Stanwood-Camano Music Festival. Sponsored by the Stanwood Area Historical Society to benefit the Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center.

An elegant evening of champagne, hors d'oeuvres, and music. 

Saturday, September 8, 2001 11 am - 4 pm
Block Party and Barbecue in downtown Stanwood
Bluegrass, jazz, folk, and marimba music at the Historical Museum in Stanwood's historic west-end. FREE, with no-host barbecue.

Saturday, September 8, 2001 6 pm - 12 midnight
Electric Equinox Concert and Fireworks at the Fairgrounds -
The first annual Electric Equinox showcased guitar rock, zydeco, and world beat music. The evening was topped off with an exciting display of fireworks!

Sunday, September 9, 2 pm
Classical afternoon at the Stanwood High Theater
Lineup included Orchestra Seattle, George Shangrow, Seattle Chamber Singers, and soloist Svend Ronning.
